Clean Water Divided
Project
Senior Capstone Project
Year
2026
This project explores the cause of access to clean water through a series of designs under the concept Clean Water Divided.
The first segment of this project consisted of designing an abstract clock that interprets elements of Clean Water Access.
In my design, I emphasized the amount of time per day that many women and children globally spend collecting water for their family.
The silhouettes combined with realistic elements create the kind of depth that this issue presents.
Exhibit
Expanding on the issue, I designed and rendered a 7×7 foot exhibit panel for the Senior Exhibition. The panel consists of informational and interactive elements that brings the audience deeper into the cause.
One interactive element is a sliding panel that reveals a secondary fact. The other is a functional touch screen that prompts the audience to click on a country to reveal a personal story about a victim of this issue.
These elements allow the audience to connect emotionally and understand that there are lives behind the statistics.
Clean Water Divided Booklet
This booklet brings together my full capstone project, documenting all design work developed around the social issue of clean water access.
